Above and beyond service before and after our summit to Kilimanjaro! Quick recap: buffet breakfast served every morning til 10am comfortable bed, AC and fan room. hot water shower (lasted max 15mins) more then you’ll get from the mountain so that was luxury. Grounds were kept clean. Offered laundry service post hike to clean your gear. Free storage for luggage . 10/10 will recommend because the staff alone was so welcoming and polite, they assist you with everything you will ever need. Beatrice and Dora at the from desk!!! Thank you so much !!! Always greeting me with that unforgetable smile

Incredible lodge! Great warm people! Great food and the rooms are gorgeous! Landscaping is great and they have their own vegetable garden! Take a walk up the small road by the lodge and get to know some locals. Met some wonderful people at the church up the road.

Pleasant garden and swimming pool, nice restaurant and very pleasant rooms. Staff is very friendly and everything is very clean and save. Highly recommended! Breakfast and diner is buffet, breakfast with savory omelette options. Fresh fruit is very nice!

We stayed here before and after a 2 day hiking trip on Kilimanjaro. The rooms a comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Oddly enough, the coffee really stood out here as you can make your own to suit you specific tastes with a coffee press. Wish they had this at every hotel.

What a charming hotel! The rooms were spacious and the grounds were serene, a lovely place to unwind before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. And the staff was so friendly and helpful! The Relations Manager, Irene, was an absolute delight who helped us navigate the local village and was so patient when we plied her with questions about local culture. I absolutely loved my stay here.

Great stay, amazing food, very helpful staff! Highly recommended. Goofed base pre/post Kilimanjaro climb, specially Machame route. Also some fantastc8 activities nearby, like the waterfall hike and coffee plantation visit. Just ask for suggestions at reception desk.

very nice hotel, with very friendly and attentive staff. everything is very clean and the food in the restaurant is very good. hopefully come back sometime. it is all surrounded by vegetation and also next to the population and you can discover the culture

A really good stay at Chanya lodge with several excursions away for days at a time where they were more than happy to store out luggage for us. The food at the restaurant was really good especially the curries and the staff weee all really great. Special mention for Omar on reception who was brilliant throughout. Mr Colin 😀
